Meet The Team
Founder & Directors
Seth "Pono" and Tiffany Dick
The organization was founded by Pono and Tiffany Dick, who have been actively involved in the community of Kauai for over 20 years.
Tiffany moved to Kauai in January of 2002 and opened Aloha Dance Studio shortly after. She has over 40 years of dance experience, instructing 32 years of her life, and is dedicated to teaching all levels and loves working with all children. Her life passion has been to give the gift of dance back to the community and provide a professional atmosphere for an enjoyable & technical learning experience!
Tiffany & Pono have such a heart for our keiki on Kauai and started the nonprofit to help reach more children that may not have the opportunity to take classes due to financial strains, to reach those who may be at risk, and also to provide scholarships to those who show potential into furthering their passion of dance or tumbling into college. We also will be including an assistant teacher and student teaching program that will guide our youth into work opportunites in the industry.
Cherelle Rego is a Mom, Full time Medical Assistant & owner of Paisley and Hunter. She dedicates her spare time helping the community by being highly involved in her children’s sports & hobbies. For the past 5 years she volunteers her time after work and on the weekends being a team mom & medic for the youth football program. She also assists with her daughters dance company. She loves to help the community in many ways as she can and hopes that her children will be able to help just as much.
Pua is a Kauai District Transportation Officer with Department of Education and oversees the school bus operations for public schools for regular education and special education students for 12 years. She is certified as a Pupil Transportation Specialist and Special Needs Transportation through the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT). For the past 5 years has been on the Aloha Dance Studio company board and assisting with events, fundraisers, and performances.
Divina Plowman, a teacher and Student Activities Coordinator at Kaua’i High School, has been working with middle school and high school students for the past 22 years. Since her daughter has danced at Aloha Dance Studio for the past 11 1/2 years, she enjoys volunteering there as well as at Hawaii Children’s Theatre. Working with the youth and helping to make a difference, are the greatest joys in her life.
